A portrait of a friend done in metallic acrylics based on
the digital art 3D render as a reference.
Finally finished the painting based on the 3D art which was
a portrait of her. The 3D I printed on a pillow for her...
and just sent off her painting , yay. It is hard to get
detail by being limited to the thickness of brush tips...
which makes painting In Real Life more challenging than
digital , where you can zoom to the size of pixels. Yes I
used metallic paint, so lighting changes within the painting
depending on what angle the light shines on... Hard to
depict in photo, looks way more interesting in real life.

A gift artwork for my friend whom I met at the Art Studio,
we are both upset that the studio has been closed. I decided
to create her up as a fairy. I have done the digital work,
to get ready to start painting it on canvas. It isn't a
large canvas but a medium sized one, A3+ size , which is
medium in my terms of painting, as some of my work has been
done on relatively large canvasses, including a large piece
of wood.
