Mimey Elfy

Photo Shoot for the Mime Nude contests by

Oh this elfy is a white spotted elf which i am acting to be,
white spotted elves cant speak but talk with there bodies and
minds telepathically. Sadly they cant sing, but they dance well.
They often get misinterpreted as the ghosts or spirits of the
forest, as they are fast moving and ethereal.
This one turned out the best and is the one I submit, its the
best in quality and the pose is very artistic and seems to go
with the mime idea thing...and the elfy looks cute! Looks like i
am sniffing the plant or something, or waiting for a fairy
that's invisible to appear sitting on the plant.
The best one out of them I chose to submit for the contest, and
the rest I upload as photos and stock.

Story:
It took quite some to get the opportunity to get these done, due
to the fact I don't have much freedom where i live with the
parents, they always ask when something extraordinary happens
and when you want to do wonderful things such as body painting,
it can be quite difficult. I bought the paint last month, costed
R30 in total, 1 black, 1 white and 1 silver. I wanted to do the
whole body silver and just hands and face white, but it ran out
when i just reached my torso. Then I decided to do the other
half of my body with the white and paint the black spots. The
problem with the paint is that it wasn't body paint, this was
"all purpose" paint, and logically if its all purpose paint i
could apply to my body. The second problem, once it dries, it
starts peeling, so i could not apply make up over the face
nicely because it was thick, and it would peel off when applying
make up brushes and sponges, and so just left it as it is.
I took the photos on Wednesday, and decided to go and do them in
my forest since at the waterfall there is no where to wash and
also I could end up polluting with the paint. So applied the
paint on at home, put a rain coat over once it dried, because
the neighbours on look the garden before i could enter the
forest, and strip it off, The reason being is i did not want
them to see me with all the paint on, as it would make them
curious and think i am doing some strange voodoo... I took some
olive oil with me to try and make skin wet look, but it was
almost finished and only could apply small amounts. Went in the
forest and found the spot near the swamp. Inside its changed
alot since i last been in there, the swamplands have grown, and
a small river now runs out from an underground water supply. The
annoying thing was the dogs, they could hear me , and they
forgot I was in the forest, they barked non stop, so i could not
have done it nicely with parents around as they would come and
look to see what the dogs were barking at. The little dog
eventually found me, I shoed it back home, and did not want it
to pester me when i try and shoot. I spent an hour and a half in
the forest taking shoots, because of the camera has a small
memory card, there was a lot of deleting and saves, and choices
to be made what's good and not since i was the photographer
myself. What I would do, is think of a pose, find a spot to
pose, then program the camera, find a spot to put the camera
down, I used logs, twigs, vines to support the camera (or asked
a fairy to hold it). Then when the camera was full with the best
shots, came out and washed the paint off, it took 4 hours of
washing as i did not want my parents to find any traces of
paint. Unfortunately some paint went on the raincoat when it was
slightly wet. So i had to scrub that as well. So it was a
shower, then a bath and then a shower again, finally i could not
see any paint but i did have some sticking in my hair when my
parents asked if i was playing with "tippex" which is product
here in SA like paint for correcting pen mistakes, where in
pencil you could have used an eraser. Then I wanted to upload
these last night , but my father hogged the internet until a
storm came, which lasted the whole night and fell asleep waiting
for the storm to pass. Today i wanted to upload them, but the
internet wasn't working possibly because of the storm.
But after all that it was 1 hours fun, 5 hours pain of washing
and then ducking from parents encase they spot a bit of unwashed
paint. If they weren't around i would have not bothered to
much...
I hope you enjoy after all that.
